I've finally finished sorting my bedroom out now. My giant desk, giant shelves on my giant desk and my giant chair are all tidy and up and running. (and how can I forget my giant bed that I've had nearly a year now). I have candles too. And also the last of my bottle of vanilla vodka. I rode Oscar today for the first time in about four months. He went quite well and didn't really feel lame at all which is brilliant. He was pretty well behaved too which is a minor miracle. He did bolt when a large brown dog leaped out from the trees and chased him but I think I'll forgive him for that. Did I get an apology from the dog's owner? ( Read more... )

I've spent the afternoon making an Ikea desk. It's very big - my giant interrogation lamp of doom would feel at home on it. It's got a large shelf life construction thingy on the top of it which now holds lots of books, magazines and DVDs. I've almost got enough shelf space again. I've just bought myself a new desk lamp because my old one finally gave up the ghost. I got it from Argos - it looked okay in the catalogue but I've got it home and it's HUGE and BRIGHT.
